We are a body positive judgment free massage studio. GHEM (which stands for Gentle Healing Energy Manipulation) provides a unique approach to massage by incorporating energy manipulation with massage techniques like deep tissue, structural integration, assisted stretching, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, swedish, and manual lymphatic drainage to intuitively connect with the body. The slower paced process allows the body to remove tension, stress, and negative influences at its own pace. This style has become highly effective.
After a GHEM session, you feel rejuvenated, energized and ready for the world. Flexibility and range of motion can noticeably increase with as little as one session.
Sheryl Michels was born and raised in the Seattle area. Since a very young age she was able to see and experience energy in ways much different from the average person. Naturally empathic, she has always had a deep understanding of others and the negative effects of energy on the body and surrounding environments.
She developed her own style of massage and energy work after suffering from health issues and negative influences in her own life. She started seeing a Naturopath, which changed her life. For the first time, she felt like she was making progress. This eventually led her to leave her life-long career in the real estate industry to enroll in massage school. After graduating and obtaining her Massage Therapist license in 2019, she officially began her journey to help others like herself. She continues her lifelong quest for knowledge about the body by taking classes, attending workshops and seminars, and experiencing different forms of treatment options.
Sheryl loves to read, hang out with her 3 cats, and explore the Pacific Northwest; especially the coast.
